We’re searching for a <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Staff</strong> <strong>TLM, Electrical Engineering - HPE.</strong></p> <p><strong>In this role, you will</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead an exceptional team of electrical engineers responsible for the development of electronics for LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products</li> <li>Collaborate with numerous internal and external teams gathering requirements, defining HW architecture, modeling, and delivering LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products that achieve performance and product metrics</li> <li>Guide and manage the team to build, integrate, test, and debug LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products; leverage software tools and advanced test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers)</li> <li>Mature processes for electrical engineering product development that adhere to safety, execution and quality requirements&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner with mechanical, operations, and validation teams to mature high quality electrical designs to manufacturing; including supporting test infrastructure development to meet product coverage and yield targets&nbsp;</li> <li>Leverage deep expertise in product development (define/build/test), and have extensive prior experience launching product&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner closely with program management to manage project deliverables</li> <li>Partner closely with supply chain and new product introduction to identify and qualify suppliers, parts and processes</li> <li>Plan and promote a forward looking outlook to hire and develop the team to meet future product roadmap</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>This role requires a bachelor's or master's degree with a focus in electrical or computer engineering</li> <li>10+ years experience in industry developing complex electrical hardware&nbsp;</li> <li>4+ years direct, personnel leadership of electrical engineering teams including hiring, establishing best practices, managing performance and growth</li> <li>Expertise in system architecture, signal and power integrity design and analysis, high speed signaling, grounding, analog electronics&nbsp;</li> <li>High proficiency and ability to analyze systems for balancing electro-mechanical and EMI/EMC constraints</li> <li>Extensive experience with hardware productization: system, board and chip level implementation</li> <li>Strong electrical engineering fundamentals supported by the use of CAD tools to capture schematic designs, manage PCB layout, leverage Power/Signal simulation/emulation input</li> <li>Expertise with lab instruments (Oscilloscopes, Analyzers, DMMs, Power Supplies, and E-loads)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products</li> <li>Knowledge of automotive requirements, safety framework (ISO26262) and qualification processes</li> <li>Experience with both rapid prototyping and design for manufacturing</li> <li>Programming and Scripting (C++, Python or equivalent) experience</li> <li>FPGA/ASIC Design experience</li> </ul> <p>The base salary range for this position is $197,000,000-$315,000 per year.&nbsp; Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
