<div> <h2><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>About the opportunity</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">We are seeking a Cloud Network Engineer/SRE to join the Platform Engineering Domain in the Connectivity Team.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The mission of Platform Engineering is to provide trusted, performant, self-service platforms that empower product teams to build “the bank the world loves to use.” Connectivity’s part of this mission is to enable secure, performant and compliant connectivity of services and partners.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">As one of the first banks completely hosted in the cloud - our security, resilience and productivity standards require not only the use of a modern technology stack, but the building of teams in line with our principles and in the service of our product teams, the company and our customers.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> <strong>In this role, you will:</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Design, develop, implement and own cloud network products, services, and solutions to improve the security, reliability, and connectivity of the N26 unified network infrastructure and systems.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Partner with product, SRE, security and other stakeholders to understand their needs and build the right connectivity solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Take an active part in the strategy and roadmap definition and prioritisation.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Mentor and support other team members.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Expand and develop your cloud knowledge, skills, and technology expertise.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> <strong>What you need to be successful:</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> <strong>Background:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, SRE, or a related field.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining hybrid network architectures.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong hands-on experience and knowledge of AWS core networking: Transit Gateway, Elastic Load Balancers, VPCs, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPNs, and Route53.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Knowledge of general core networking: Firewalls, Routing, Switching, VPNs, NAC, Virtualization.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience with network security principles and related products.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Go.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Previous experience with Linux, Atlantis, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Good communication skills and a sense of ownership, with a systematic problem-solving approach.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proactiveness, collaboration and eagerness to learn.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>What’s in it for you:</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li…
