Senior Software Engineer, Data Privacy Platform (DC)

Their platform powers consent, governance, and secure data workflows for Fortune 100 customers, processing tens of millions of requests daily. What You’ll Do

Build and scale high-throughput APIs and services (50M+ daily events)

Own features end-to-end, from design to production

Improve system performance, reliability, and security

Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction

Mentor junior engineers as you grow into a leadership role

What You Bring

6–10 years of backend or full-stack engineering experience

Strong fundamentals in APIs, distributed systems, and debugging

Experience with modern web stacks (e.g., JavaScript + any OOP backend)

Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment

Ability to work hybrid in the DC area (relocation supported)

Tech Stack (Representative) JavaScript, Python, PHP/Java/C++, React, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS, Docker Compensation & Benefits

Base $110K–$150K + 20K retention bonus + equity (experience-adjusted)
