You will work on creating standardized, scalable systems for CI/CD, Observability, Kubernetes optimization, environment bootstrapping, cost optimization, and more. Supporting the Infrastructure needs of the organization and identifying new opportunities to mature the path to production in a safe, cost effective way will also be an integral part of this role. </span></p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services at Mozilla.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows that improve developer productivity</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Guide team members and promote engineering standard methodologies, with a focus on usability and maintainability.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for efficient and cohesive platform delivery.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies, processes, and platform functionality.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Create new features for the platform with a meaningful value proposition</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Be trusted to resolve unclear but urgent tasks.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">5+ years experience in software engineering with expertise in at least one of (Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proven technical leadership experience.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Expertise in several of the following (ArgoCD, Grafana, K8s, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, Cloud Cost Optimization)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies (GCP preferred; AWS also acceptable).</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent communication skills aligning technology with user needs and organizational goals.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Curiosity and interest in learning new things</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Commitment to our values:</span></li> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Welcoming differences</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Being relationship-minded</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Practicing responsible participation</span></li> <li…
