Senior Software Engineer

About this role

This is a remote position. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in backend and frontend development using C#, React, and relational databases. This role is responsible for designing scalable software solutions, leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, and contributing to architectural and technology decisions while maintaining high-quality software standards.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions using C#, React, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

Maintain and enhance legacy applications built with C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.

Lead complex software development projects from design through implementation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze technical and business requirements.

Drive coding, testing, and deployment best practices to ensure high-quality software.

Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Participate in architecture, technology stack, and development methodology decisions.

Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with external services.

Optimize database design, SQL queries, and application performance.

Requisitos

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer.

Strong expertise in: C#

ASP.NET

React

SQL Server

PostgreSQL

Hands-on experience with: Entity Framework Core

RESTful APIs

OAuth

Hangfire

External API integrations

Deep understanding of: SOLID principles

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

DRY

YAGNI

Strong software architecture and scalable system design experience.

Advanced knowledge of database design, SQL optimization, and performance tuning.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).

Experience using Docker and Docker Compose.

Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring software engineers.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have Additional experience with Azure Cloud.

Advanced experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
