Join us and help build the future of global investing!</span></p></div><h3><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">About the Role</span></h3> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The Senior Software Engineer on the Cash & Liquidity Management team works collaboratively with technology and business teams to build next-generation features and enhancements for our API and money movement platforms and help our clients build innovative investing solutions at scale.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">With DriveWealth at a growth inflection point, the opportunities for this role are twofold: our growing volumes translate to interesting technical challenges related to scale. There is also an opportunity to gain knowledge of the money movement side of finance.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">What You'll Do</span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Hands-on software development as you grow to understand how we handle various money flows</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with internal stakeholders</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Work with the Cash & Liquidity Management team to architect and design new systems</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain and enhance existing systems</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Work with vendor banking-as-a-service APIs </span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Deeply understand real-world money movement workflows in the banking industry and automate manual operational processes</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">You Bring</span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">7+ years of experience in backend software development using OOP/Functional principles in Java. Other languages in the JVM platform, such as Kotlin or Scala are also acceptable</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience in a good number of the following: Spring Boot, OpenAPI, message queuing frameworks (AMQ, Kinesis, SQS, Kafka, etc.), distributed caching (we use Redis), DynamoDB (or similar), Postgres (or similar)</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Active development experience in a cloud-based microservices environment (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience with compute/container platforms such as AWS EC2, K8s is highly preferred</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience with…
