Responsibilities:

Patrol lobby, guest room corridors, back of house areas, public areas and surroundings to detect any suspicious personnel. Keep an eye on any unattended luggage or belongings.

Conduct investigations and keep hotel Management informed regarding accidents such losses, theft etc.

Accompany the Duty Manager whilst investigating irregularities in guest rooms and public areas when required.

Ensure wherever possible that employees are provided with a work place free of discrimination, harassment and victimisation.

Record details of significant incidents and activities that may occur during the shift

Coordinate investigations with the Police regarding crimes, accidents involving hotel guests and ambassadors

Ensure Security Checkpoint/Office is manned, clean and tidy at all times.

Key Job Requirements

Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management

Minimum of 2 year(s) of experience in a similar capacity with proven track records

Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language

Security related certification required

Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
