We at Coforge are hiring Senior Python & React Engineer (#14816-4-2) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

•
Build and maintain full-stack features across React web applications, React Native mobile applications, and Python/Django backend services.

•
Design and implement well-documented, well-tested REST APIs that support real-world conditions, including intermittent connectivity.

•
Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into well-scoped technical solutions and contribute to architecture and design decisions.

•
Mentor engineers, participate in code reviews and on-call rotations, and continuously improve development workflows, tooling, documentation, and engineering practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

•
Strong proficiency in Python with experience building backend services and APIs.

•
Hands-on experience with Django or a similar Python web framework.

•
Experience building web applications with React.

•
Experience developing mobile applications with React Native for iOS and Android.

•
Experience working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

•
Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs.

•
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development workflows.

•
Excellent communication skills and ability to give and receive feedback effectively.

•
Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Preferred Skills:

•
Experience building offline-first or connectivity-resilient mobile applications.

•
Experience with Django REST Framework.

•
Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based infrastructure.

•
Experience with feature flagging systems and incremental rollout strategies.

•
Experience using AI agents to accelerate development workflows.

•
Background in construction, workforce management, or field operations software.

•
Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects.

•
Experience optimizing mobile application performance on constrained devices or networks.
