While acting small by investing in you, your growth, your team, and giving you the autonomy to solve our clients' problems, no matter where you are in the world. </p> <p> <strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p> <p>Our <strong>Senior Account Manager, Programmatic</strong> is responsible for overseeing the successful execution and optimization of programmatic campaigns with a high level of media-buying expertise and operational excellence within our retail vertical. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to clients, manage complex campaigns, and provide mentorship and day-to-day guidance to Account Managers and Coordinators to support their development and ensure strong team performance.</p> <p>While DEPT® is a remote-first company, this role requires candidates to be located in either the Mountain or Pacific time zones.</p> <p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner closely with client services and programmatic teams to deliver client-first recommendations and provide day-to-day programmatic expertise.</li> <li>Develop & execute cutting-edge digital campaigns from conception to launch across platforms like Amazon (bonus if you have experience on Walmart and Target).</li> <li>Manage and oversee executions and optimizations of your sponsored campaigns.</li> <li>Build, strengthen, and maintain effective client relationships by communicating performance insights and strategic opportunities.</li> <li>Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and clear communication in all client and internal interactions.</li> <li>Act as a proactive self-starter who can independently manage workflows while collaborating across teams.</li> <li>Support the development and execution of programmatic strategy to drive performance and achieve client goals.</li> <li>Provide guidance, feedback, and light mentorship to Account Managers and Coordinators to support their growth.</li> <li>Champion our core values and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.</li> <li>Bring forward innovative ideas and challenge existing processes to help elevate team performance and campaign results.</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of programmatic media experience, preferably across CTV, Display, and Video, with exposure to Native, Audio, or OOH.</li> <li>Hands-on programmatic trading experience within retail marketplaces such as Walmart, Target, or Best Buy.</li> <li>Proficiency in multiple DSPs (Amazon, TTD & DV360 preferred), as well as familiarity with Ad Servers.</li> <li>A minimum of 3 years’ paid marketing / ecommerce experience. </li> <li>Familiarity with Amazon Vendor/Seller Central is required.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience guiding or mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a strategic mindset.</li> <li>While DEPT® is a remote-first company, this role requires candidates to be located in either the Mountain or Pacific time zones.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT IMPRESSES US</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exceptional deck-building and storytelling abilities.</li> <li>Advanced experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, or similar ad-tech platforms.</li> <li>Skills in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Data Studio, Tableau).</li> <li>Experience supporting or contributing to client pitches, audits, or strategic presentations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT DO WE OFFER?</strong></p> <p>We are a collaborative, open-door, best-idea-wins environment that fosters personal and company growth and has fun doing it.
