How This Role Makes a Difference

The Senior Program Manager, Clinical Conduct owns clinical delivery strategy and operational standards for assigned Future of Medicine (FoM) functions and the related portfolio of initiatives. The role combines clinical-care experience with digital product and systems expertise to improve patient workflows, guide technology requirements, and deliver measurable operational results. The Director makes decisions within agreed parameters, leads implementation across functions and locations, and owns the Clinical Conduct workstream for global expansion, adapting the delivery model for additional countries in partnership with local clinical, quality, regulatory, technology, and operational stakeholders.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Own the strategy, operating standards, and integrated roadmap for assigned FoM clinical delivery functions and initiatives. Prioritize the portfolio, sequence dependencies, align capacity across Clinical Conduct, Quality, Technology, and Operations, and decide scope or timing changes within agreed parameters.

• Direct clinical workflow and product discovery, translating patient-care needs into business and functional requirements, workflow models, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria. Partner with Product and Engineering on EHR/CRM data flows, API and interoperability requirements, feasibility, testing, and release readiness; resolve clinical and technical tradeoffs with accountable experts.

• Direct readiness and sustained adoption of new clinical workflows and technology, including stakeholder engagement, role-based training, launch criteria, and post-launch evaluation. Own the Clinical Conduct workstream for global expansion, adapting clinical delivery models, workflows, technology requirements, training, and implementation plans for new countries in partnership with local clinical, quality, regulatory, technology, and operational stakeholders.

• Establish ownership and escalation thresholds, resolve cross-functional dependencies, and present recommendations on delivery risk, quality, technical tradeoffs, and capacity. Coach workstream leads and hold contributors accountable through matrixed leadership.

• Set outcome measures for patient flow, readiness, adoption, workflow quality, compliance, and staff experience. Use performance reviews and root cause analysis to identify systemic issues, prioritize improvements, and verify sustained results across delivery settings.

• Partner with Clinical, Quality, and local regulatory experts to incorporate applicable healthcare quality, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), accreditation, and patient-safety requirements into delivery standards, controls, training, and launch decisions. Escalate specialist judgments and material risks to the accountable leaders.

• Apply direct patient-care and clinical delivery experience to improve patient flow, care transitions, documentation, and staff usability. Use clinical discovery, workflow evaluation, and simulation to validate changes before broader implementation.

• Monitor relevant clinical, regulatory, operational, and technology developments; assess implications for the portfolio and update standards, requirements, or guidance. Build reusable practices and coach contributors to support consistent execution across settings.

The Expertise Required

• Demonstrated ownership of clinical delivery functions or a portfolio of complex healthcare initiatives, including strategy, governance, prioritization, implementation, and sustained outcomes.

• Experience in direct patient care or clinical service delivery, with practical knowledge of patient workflows, clinical documentation, care transitions, and multidisciplinary operations.

• Experience translating clinical and operational needs into product roadmaps, functional requirements, technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria in partnership with Product and Engineering teams.

• Working knowledge of EHR/CRM workflows, APIs, interoperability concepts such as FHIR, and data dependencies sufficient to evaluate requirements, integration feasibility, and implementation tradeoffs with technical specialists.

• Sound judgment in ambiguous environments, including the ability to resolve issues within delegated authority, assess clinical and operational risk, and escalate decisions with clear recommendations.

• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, coach workstream leads, align priorities and assignments across functions, and drive accountability without direct reporting authority.

• Experience establishing outcome measures and using clinical workflow analysis, qualitative and quantitative evidence, and root cause analysis to improve delivery and adoption.

• Familiarity with healthcare quality, regulatory, and compliance expectations, including GCP, preferred.

• Experience leading readiness and adoption of technology-enabled clinical workflows…
