Job Overview:

As a Senior Product Manager on the Promise & Transportation Network Product team, you will drive core products that power customer delivery promises on the Coupang app while maximizing the end-to-end efficiency of our fulfillment and transportation network. You will own the product strategy and execution for end-to-end serviceability—spanning from Fulfillment Centers to Last-Mile Nodes—inventory and promise calculation engines, and next-generation network configuration and change management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and execute the product roadmap for the Promise & Transportation Network platform, aligning platform capability with rapid business growth and network expansion.

• Drive end-to-end serviceability logic across all logistics nodes—from Fulfillment Centers (FC) to Last-Mile Delivery Nodes—ensuring optimal speed, cost, and reliability.

Core Platform & Engine Execution

• Own the development and continuous optimization of inventory and promise engines, delivering real-time, highly accurate delivery promises to millions of customers at high throughput.

• Design and build next-generation network configuration and change management platforms that allow operational teams to safely adapt network topology and manage capacity configurations with zero downtime.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, SCM, and Fulfillment & Logistics Operations teams to translate complex physical operational flows into scalable products.

• Work with customer-facing product teams to seamlessly integrate promise logic into the Coupang shopping experience.

Data & Performance Optimization

• Define key metrics and tracking for Inventory & Promise Accuracy, Network Cutoff Compliance, and Network Change SLA.

• Leverage deep data analytics and operational telemetry to identify bottlenecks, reduce system latency, and drive continuous platform optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of dedicated Product Management experience in high-scale tech platforms, e-commerce, logistics tech, SCM, or complex distributed systems.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain concepts, including fulfillment node management, transportation network routing, inventory assignment, or serviceability logic.

• Technical & Platform Depth: Proven track record of owning backend systems, microservice architectures, high-throughput calculation engines, or enterprise configuration platforms.

• Data Fluency: Exceptional analytical skills with hands-on proficiency in SQL and data analytics to validate hypotheses, make data-driven decisions, and quantify product impact.

• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to bridge the gap between technical engineering teams, data scientists, and business/operations stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building Promise Systems.

• Hands-on experience designing change management or network topology platforms for large-scale physical operational networks.

• Experience in top-tier global e-commerce, hyper-growth logistics, or Tech/Product-led companies.

• Advanced degree (Master's/MBA) in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related technical fields.
