About this role
Senior Occupational Therapist | Mixed Caseload, Clinic & Community
The caseload at this practice is built around the clinician, rather than a clinician being fitted into an existing one. It’s a senior role in a multidisciplinary team in Perth, with a mix of clinic and community work, and the flexibility to shape your week.
The practice
• Perth based, serving clients of all ages and abilities, from early childhood through to adults
• Registered NDIS provider with Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology and Positive Behaviour Support under one roof
• Mobile service, so therapy happens where it’s most useful: home, school, work or the community, as well as in the clinic
• Family and client centred approach, with goals set by the client and their family
• Individual and group therapy, telehealth, and a range of specialist assessments, including functional capacity, sensory profile, ADOS-2, motor dysgraphia and school screens
• Therapy assistants, workshops and webinars support the clinical team
The role
• Salaried Senior Occupational Therapist position, available now
• Full time (38 hours per week), with part time considered for the right candidate
• Mixed paediatric and adult caseload, built around your skills and interests
• Mix of clinic based and community sessions, with your main location depending on the caseload you build
• Senior level clinical responsibility, with the opportunity to shape how the caseload develops
• Opportunity to contribute to assessments, group programs and workshops
Hours and flexibility
• Monday to Friday, with no weekend work
• Work within a 7:30am to 6:00pm window, or choose a set 7.6 hour day
• Part time arrangements possible
Salary and benefits
• $100k to $115k plus super, depending on experience
• Flexible daily hours
• Variety of clinical settings and client groups
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary team
About you
• Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration (general registration preferred, limited registration considered depending on conditions)
• Senior level experience in a disability or community based setting, with comfort across paediatric and adult clients
• Familiar with NDIS funded services, goals and reporting
• Confident working with families, carers and schools
• Comfortable moving between clinic, home, school and community settings
• Existing right to work in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available at this stage)
Location
• Based in the Belmont area, with community sessions across the Perth metropolitan region. It’s a short drive from the river, with cafes and parks nearby and easy access to the city and airport.
