In this role, you will participate in the full software testing lifecycle — from product design reviews and test planning to hands-on test execution and automation development. You will work across key domains including cloud networking, security, and performance &amp; scalability, helping to ensure our cloud products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.</p> <p>This role is ideal for engineers who have a solid foundation in one or more of these domains, are passionate about automation, and are eager to leverage modern AI tools to amplify their testing effectiveness.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with software engineers to understand product requirements and contribute to design reviews from a testability perspective</li> <li>Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases covering functional, end-to-end, security, and performance/scalability scenarios in cloud environments</li> <li>Efficiently write and maintain automated test cases using Python or Go, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across functional, end-to-end, security, and performance scenarios</li> <li>Conduct performance and scalability testing using tools such as iperf to identify bottlenecks and validate network behavior under load</li> <li>Perform or support security-focused testing, including validation of network segmentation, access control policies, and encryption configurations</li> <li>Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex networking and cloud infrastructure issues</li> <li>Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM-based assistants) to accelerate test script development, log analysis, and test coverage enhancement</li> <li>Maintain clear and organized testing documentation, test reports, and defect tracking records</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field</li> <li>3+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test engineering, or a related technical role</li> <li>Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, routing protocols such as BGP, VPN, firewall concepts)</li> <li>Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)</li> <li>Proficiency in Python or Go for test automation and scripting</li> <li>Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams with moderate supervision</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in one or more of the following domains: <ul> <li>Networking &amp; Routing: Practical knowledge of BGP, or cloud networking</li> <li>Security: Familiarity with network security concepts such as zero-trust, IAM policies, encryption, or vulnerability testing</li> <li>Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)</li> <li>Performance &amp; Scale: Experience with performance benchmarking tools (e.g., iperf, ethr, cyperf) and scalability test methodologies</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience using AI/ML-powered development tools to improve coding efficiency, test generation, or log analysis</li> <li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)</li> <li>Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus</li> <li>A curious and proactive learner who can quickly ramp up on new technologies</li> <li>A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and contributes constructively to design discussions</li> <li>An engineer who embraces AI as a productivity multiplier — not just a buzzword, but a practical tool in your daily workflow</li> <li>Someone who takes ownership of quality and is not afraid to raise issues early and often</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why join us</strong></p> <p>By joining our Cloud Test team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud networking products used by enterprise customers worldwide.
