If you're passionate about driving real change in healthcare, join the CopilotIQ+Biofourmis Team!</p></div><h2><strong>What is the Senior Manager, IT role?</strong></h2> <p>As the leader of all IT operations at CopilotIQ+Biofourmis, you will ensure that our remote team has seamless access to the technology they need to deliver exceptional healthcare solutions. Operating in a HIPAA-regulated environment, you'll balance enabling productivity while maintaining robust security and compliance standards.</p> <p>You'll be the systems-oriented problem solver who ensures our technology infrastructure stays in the background, enabling our teams to focus on transforming healthcare. Success means maintaining operational excellence through data-driven oversight, optimizing costs through strategic vendor management, and serving as a trusted partner to leadership on technology decisions.</p> <p>This is a hands-on management role reporting to the Vice President of Operations, with direct oversight of a small support team. You'll own IT operations and implementation while collaborating with internal teams and external partners on security policy development.</p> <h2><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Lead IT operations as a working manager</strong> for our global team and workforce (US, India), personally handling tickets alongside your team while managing JIRA24/7 help desk coverage and system reliability with a small, service-oriented support team.</li> <li><strong>Build and maintain robust systems</strong> that create process visibility and support both internal reporting and regulatory compliance, leading cross-organizational collaboration on requirements and system architecture</li> <li><strong>Optimize costs and vendor relationships</strong>, assessing software options for maximum value while managing budgets and renewal cycles with stakeholders across the organization</li> <li><strong>Implement and manage security policies</strong> developed collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, including hands-on onboarding/offboarding processes and compliance documentation</li> <li><strong>Drive process improvements</strong> through data analysis, tracking and reporting KPIs, creating self-service tools and automation to reduce support tickets while building reliable systems that keep technology in the background</li> <li><strong>Collaborate cross-functionally</strong> as the primary IT liaison to leadership and external partners, ensuring all teams have the technology support needed for their roles</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What you'll bring:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.</li> <li><strong>8+ years of IT operations</strong>, ideally in technology or startup environments with strong systems orientation and cost-optimization mindset</li> <li><strong>2+ years of people management experience </strong>leading IT or technical teams. Experience managing remote and/or international teams is strongly preferred.</li> <li><strong>Technical proficiency</strong> in endpoint management (Jamf), identity/access management (Okta), Google Workspace, Jira and modern SaaS ecosystems</li> <li>Proven ability to architect cost-effective, scalable solutions <strong>within resource constraints.</strong></li> <li><strong>Management and collaboration skills</strong> with track record of leading remote teams, fostering service-oriented culture, and working effectively across organizations</li> <li><strong>Process and compliance experience</strong> including documentation, vendor management, and ability to quickly adapt to regulatory requirements in fast-growing companies</li> <li><strong>Data-driven problem solving</strong> with ability to analyze metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and build reliable systems that reduce manual intervention</li> </ul> <p>Bonus Points for:</p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting or maintaining SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, or other compliance and security frameworks.</li> <li>Experience managing enterprise IT operations, endpoint/device management, and user support across a distributed or remote workforce.</li> </ul>
