Whether that experience is online or in-person, streaming video, theatrical, games, merchandise, events and more, it’s powered by the anime content we all love.</p> <p>Join our team, and help us shape the future of anime!</p></div><p>About the role</p> <p>We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (Marketing &amp; Growth) to lead budget ownership, expense management, and performance oversight across our global Marketing organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, GTM FP&amp;A, this role serves as a dedicated Finance Business Partner to Marketing and Growth leaders, providing financial leadership across planning, forecasting, and investment decision-making. You will own how marketing spend is planned, tracked, and optimized globally, ensuring strong financial discipline while enabling efficient growth.</p> <p>This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and operational execution, including building scalable reporting and business intelligence solutions (e.g., Power BI), managing governance and approval frameworks, and delivering clear insights into marketing performance across the subscription funnel. You will also develop a Senior Financial Analyst, helping elevate analytical rigor and business partnership across the team.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Own the global Marketing budget, including planning, tracking, and expense management across channels and regions</li> <li>Partner with Marketing leadership to drive disciplined investment allocation aligned to growth priorities and ROI targets</li> <li>Provide visibility into spend vs. plan, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending actionable adjustments</li> <li>Lead performance management across the full subscription funnel (acquisition, conversion, retention, churn)</li> <li>Evaluate marketing effectiveness across paid and organic channels to optimize efficiency and scalability</li> <li>Develop and evolve KPIs (e.g., CAC, LTV, ARPU, payback) to inform investment decisions and growth strategy</li> <li>Own forecasting, annual planning, and long-range planning, translating strategy into financial plans and scenarios</li> <li>Support decision-making through modeling, trade-off analysis, and performance forecasting</li> <li>Lead development of business intelligence tools and reporting infrastructure (e.g., Power BI, Board) to enable scalable insights</li> <li>Establish and manage governance frameworks, including spend approvals, investment tracking, and global process standardization</li> <li>Own executive reporting and communications while managing and developing a Senior Financial Analyst and partnering cross-functionally to drive performance improvements</li> </ul> <p>We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Los Angeles, CA.</p> <p>Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in FP&amp;A, strategic finance, or finance business partnering roles in high-growth environments</li> <li>Experience supporting Marketing, Growth, or GTM functions, ideally within media, entertainment, or subscription-based businesses</li> <li>Strong expertise in budget management, expense control, and financial governance frameworks</li> <li>Deep understanding of marketing and subscription metrics, including CAC, LTV, ARPU, churn, and funnel performance</li> <li>Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in a client-facing / business partner capacity</li> <li>Experience building and scaling business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and improving reporting infrastructure</li> <li>Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills</li> <li>Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences</li> <li>Experience managing or mentoring team members</li> <li>Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization</li> <li>Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred</li> </ul> <h2>Why you will love working at Crunchyroll</h2> <p>In addition to getting to work with fun, passionate and inspired colleagues, you will also enjoy the following benefits and perks:</p> <ul> <li>Receive a great compensation package including salary plus performance bonus earning potential, paid annually.</li> <li>Flexible time off policies allowing you to take the time you need to be your whole self.</li> <li>Generous medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, and life insurance</li> <li>Health Saving Account HSA program</li> <li>Health care and dependent care FSA</li> <li>401(k) plan, with employer match</li> <li>Employer paid commuter benefit</li> <li>Support program for new parents</li> <li>Pet insurance and some of our offices are pet friendly!</li> </ul> <p>#LifeAtCrunchyroll ((select from the following job modalities for this role: #LI-Hybrid #LI-remote #LI-onsite))</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Pay Range for this position is listed.
