In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.
Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.
Position Summary
You are a fast, precise communications writer and operator who can help take a story from first draft to live – a press release on the wire, a disease awareness campaign across our channels, an all-company email in a leader's inbox. You know biotech news flow and the review gates every piece has to clear, and you know how to help make a rare disease visible to the people who need to recognize it, without crossing the promotional line. You're energized by the craft of execution – drafting, routing, scheduling, tracking – and you're eager to grow your scope as you learn the business.
The Senior Manager of Corporate Communications will support BridgeBio's corporate news flow, owned channels, disease awareness and education, and internal and executive communications. You will report to and work hand-in-hand with the Director of Communications, who sets direction and reviews and approves the work, while continuing to lead communications for regulatory milestones, launches, earnings, and financings. The team sits within Brand & Communications and you'll work daily with Patient Advocacy, Medical Affairs, Investor Relations, Legal, Regulatory, People, Marketing, and our agency partners.
This is a hands-on role with real room to grow. We want someone who takes initiative, spots gaps, brings ideas forward, and takes as much pride in distribution as in the narrative behind it. As you build expertise and trust, you'll take on increasing responsibility for workstreams within the function.
Why This Role Matters
BridgeBio's newsflow has never been heavier. We are issuing roughly a press release a week – data readouts, congress curtain raisers, clinical and regulatory milestones, earnings, and financings – while preparing for three more commercial launches on top of Attruby. Across our portfolio, many of the conditions we work in are underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed, which makes disease awareness and education some of the most important work we do. Our audience is growing quickly, and more teams across the company are asking Communications for help telling their stories. This role adds the capacity we need to sustain that pace with quality.
What You'll Do
Press Releases & Corporate Newsflow
• Partner closely with Director of Communications, providing regular updates on in-flight work, flagging emerging issues and opportunities, and contributing ideas to communications planning across the team.
• Draft recurring corporate press releases – congress curtain raisers, clinical milestones (e.g., first patient dosed), corporate announcements, etc. – for review by the Director of U.S. Communications, and support regulatory, earnings, and financing releases as needed
• Support releases through BridgeBio's press release review protocol: route drafts to reviewers, consolidate comments, track approvals against deadlines, and QC every detail
• Support the path from draft to distribution across our owned channel ecosystem, including proof review, wire and Nasdaq timing, IR email alerts, website posting, and partner notifications, in coordination with Investor Relations and BD
• Draft supporting materials for announcements, such as internal companywide emails, Board of Directors notes, partner notifications, and social copy
Disease Awareness & Education
• Support planning, keeping up to date, and executing BridgeBio's annual disease awareness calendar – Rare Disease Day, condition-specific awareness days and months, and key advocacy moments
• Draft unbranded disease education content – explainers, carousels, short-form video scripts, fact sheets, and patient and caregiver stories – that helps patients, families, and clinicians recognize conditions earlier, and help move it through Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review
• Help elevate patient, caregiver, and advocacy voices with appropriate consent, amplify advocacy partners' campaigns, and support community events and conferences on social
• Support disease education campaigns and partnerships with agencies and external partners (e.g., documentaries, education films, creator content), including coordinating paid amplification and tracking performance
• Help bring awareness moments inside the company through internal communications, employee social toolkits, office screens, and Lunch & Learns
• Maintain BridgeBio's library of approved disease fact sheets and awareness assets so they can be reused quickly and compliantly
Social Media & Company Channels
• Support execution of BridgeBio’s social strategy by drafting and managing day-to-day organic content and, in partnership with our digital media team and media agency, paid content for our channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)– announcements, congress recaps, awareness moments, On Rare podcast promotion, culture and recruitment content
• Support the day-to-day social review workflow: Veeva/MLR submissions and material codes, Legal and affiliate…
