About this role
This is a remote position.
• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation ofcustomer agreements, vendor and partner contracts, service agreements, data protection and privacy-related agreements, NDAs and other commercial contractsacross Rayda’s operating markets.
• Manage contract negotiations with customers, vendors, partners and other third parties across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner closely with Sales to provide practical legal guidance during customer negotiations and help reduce unnecessary friction in deal cycles.
• Provide clear, commercially mindedlegal risk assessmentsthat enable leadership and business teams to make informed decisions.
• Advise on data protection, privacy, intellectual property and other legal matters relevant to Rayda’s products and operations.
• Own and improve Rayda’s contract lifecycle processes, including contract records, templates, approvals, renewals and key contractual obligations.
• Develop contract templates, standard clauses and negotiation playbooks to improve consistency and speed.
• Partner with theCompliance & Risk Leadon matters where legal, regulatory, compliance and enterprise risk considerations intersect.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, People, Product, Sales and other teams on legal matters affecting their functions.
• Provide legal support for employment, consultancy and contractor arrangements where required.
• Support corporate governance, entity management and other company-level legal matters.
• Coordinate external counsel where specialist or jurisdiction-specific legal advice is required.
• Monitor relevantlegal and regulatory developmentsacross Rayda’s operating markets and advise the business on their legal implications.
• Help establish scalable legal processes, documentation and tooling as Rayda grows.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice that balanceslegal risk, commercial objectives and speed.
Requirements
• Qualified lawyer with5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in commercial or corporate law.
• Strong experiencedrafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including customer, vendor, partner and service agreements.
• Experience gained within areputable commercial law firm, technology company, SaaS business or high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding ofcorporate and commercial law, with exposure to data privacy and technology-related legal matters.
• Experience supportingcross-border transactions or businesses operating across multiple jurisdictionsis highly desirable.
• Strongcommercial judgment, with the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and speed.
• Excellentdrafting, negotiation, communication and stakeholder managementskills.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues intoclear, practical advice for non-legal teams and senior leadership.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and comfortableowning legal matters independently from start to finish.
• High level ofintegrity, discretion and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with theCompliance & Risk Leadand other functions where legal and compliance matters intersect.
• Excellent written and spokenEnglish.
