Do you want to actively shape the energy transition in **Flanders and beyond (UK)?**

As a **Senior Lead Engineer Solar & BESS,** you will work on **large-scale solar installations** and battery energy storage systems that truly make an impact. Based in the **Bruges region**, you will take on a key role in projects across **Flanders and the United Kingdom.** You combine strong **technical expertise** with a helicopter view of the entire project lifecycle – from **concept design to final delivery.**

**Your responsibilities**

* **Design** and **engineer** large-scale **solar** and **battery** storage (BESS) projects from concept to realization
* Select appropriate technologies and components, including detailed cable sizing and power calculations
* **Develop technical plans, schematics,** timelines, and **budgets** in close collaboration with project management
* **Conduct feasibility studies** and site visits to assess performance and execution viability
* Act as the **central technical point of contact** for OEMs, consultants, contractors, and grid operators
* Ensure all designs comply with relevant legislation, **safety standards**, and grid requirements (e.g. G99)
* **Create** and review **SLDs**, **CAD layouts**, **and technical documentation**
* **Monitor quality** during execution and proactively solve technical challenges
* Collaborate closely with engineers, installation teams, and clients in **Belgium and abroad (UK)**
