This is an remote position supporting government benefit fraud investigations and financial crime analysis.</p> <p data-start="302" data-end="703">The successful candidate will apply advanced analytical techniques to identify fraud patterns, support investigative case development, and produce high-quality reports and referrals for law enforcement and government stakeholders. This role requires strong experience working with both structured and unstructured data, as well as the ability to communicate findings clearly to senior decision-makers.</p> <p data-start="705" data-end="884">The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically strong, and experienced in supporting complex fraud investigations involving government benefit programs and financial crimes.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Responsibilities and Duties:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <h3 data-section-id="1ero5n" data-start="918" data-end="962">Investigative Analysis & Fraud Detection</h3> <ul data-start="963" data-end="1407"> <li data-section-id="v40n5q" data-start="963" data-end="1058">Conduct investigative analysis supporting government benefit fraud and financial crime cases.</li> <li data-section-id="jbytec" data-start="1059" data-end="1202">Analyze structured and unstructured data from public and non-public sources to identify fraud indicators, anomalies, and behavioral patterns.</li> <li data-section-id="pavmh0" data-start="1203" data-end="1315">Apply knowledge of fraud typologies, including identity fraud, eligibility fraud, and organized fraud schemes.</li> <li data-section-id="1lqp20n" data-start="1316" data-end="1407">Support case development through detailed analytical findings and investigative insights.</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="fjm7ps" data-start="1409" data-end="1445">Data Analysis & Tool Utilization</h3> <ul data-start="1446" data-end="1760"> <li data-section-id="1lxmlte" data-start="1446" data-end="1566">Utilize analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, Neo4j, and i2 Analyst’s Notebook (or comparable link analysis platforms).</li> <li data-section-id="jarpt0" data-start="1567" data-end="1671">Perform link analysis to identify relationships among entities, transactions, and suspicious activity.</li> <li data-section-id="1ik8y5w" data-start="1672" data-end="1760">Query and manipulate datasets to support investigative hypotheses and case validation.</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="16f7y08" data-start="1762" data-end="1796">Reporting & Case Documentation</h3> <ul data-start="1797" data-end="2076"> <li data-section-id="ereo07" data-start="1797" data-end="1904">Prepare investigative reports, case summaries, and referral packages suitable for law enforcement action.</li> <li data-section-id="16ofd5d" data-start="1905" data-end="1996">Ensure all findings are clearly documented, well-supported, and professionally presented.</li> <li data-section-id="2z9uwi" data-start="1997" data-end="2076">Translate complex data analysis into clear, actionable intelligence products.</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="h7mbl9" data-start="2078" data-end="2120">Communication & Stakeholder Engagement</h3> <ul data-start="2121" data-end="2390"> <li data-section-id="1rvr2y7" data-start="2121" data-end="2207">Brief findings to senior government stakeholders…
