Senior Google Cloud Data Architect

About this role

We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Data Architect to join our team and support exciting international projects. This role combines hands-on architecture with solution design and pre-sales activities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients while designing modern cloud data platforms.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape technical solutions, support new business opportunities, and guide customers through their cloud transformation journey. What You'll Be Doing
Design end-to-end data and analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Support pre-sales activities, technical solutioning, and proposal development
Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture discussions
Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud data platforms
Collaborate with sales, delivery, and technical teams during new business opportunities
Define solution architecture, estimations, and implementation approaches
Advise clients on data modernization, analytics, AI, and cloud transformation initiatives
Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies throughout the solutioning process
Support project transition from pre-sales into delivery
Requirements
What We're Looking For
8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Cloud Data Solutions
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
Excellent understanding of modern data platform architectures
Experience working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating within international teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Technical Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Looker
Experience designing modern data platforms, including data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, data migration, and real-time/batch processing solutions
Understanding of data governance, security, and cloud optimization principles
Experience with AI/ML or GenAI solutions on GCP is a plus
Knowledge of Google Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect certifications is an advantage
Previous experience in consulting, managed services, enterprise cloud transformations, or technical pre-sales is highly valued
