About this role

Brainlabs is the independent, founder-led agency building the future of media. We have over 1000 Brainlabbers based across the global, all united through the 12 principles laid out in our Culture Code. We're full-service, with people and AI agents working side by side, all aligned to one thing: maximizing our clients' revenue through a genuinely scientific approach to media. If you want to help play your part in achieving this for the world's biggest brands in an environment that will support and challenge you in equal measure, this is where you do it.

What You'll Do:

• Design and maintain Solution Design References (SDRs), data layer recommendations, and technical specification documents that serve as the source of truth for tracking implementations across web and app properties.

• Implement and validate analytics tags and marketing pixels using Google Tag Manager, covering both client-side and server-side setups, with strong QA discipline at every stage.

• Experience configuring and validating cross-domain tracking in GA4, including referral exclusions, linker parameters, and session continuity across multi-domain client environments.

• Write JavaScript, ES6, and jQuery functions to capture required data from web pages, and troubleshoot discrepancies between what the implementation says and what GA4 reports show.

• Build and run analyses in GA4 and BigQuery, going beyond surface-level reporting to surface the behavioral patterns and conversion drivers that matter, including custom explorations, segments, and funnel analysis.

• Manage and mentor a small team of analysts and implementation engineers, reviewing their work, unblocking technical problems, and helping them grow their skills in both implementation and analysis.

• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather analytics requirements, translate them into scoped technical projects, and produce Point of Views (POVs) on measurement trends or platform changes as needed.

• Stay current on privacy-driven shifts in measurement, including consent mode, server-side tagging, and cookieless tracking, and bring practical responses to those changes into the team's standard approach.

• Experience building and maintaining proactive monitoring infrastructure, including Looker Studio dashboards and GA4 or GTM-based alerts, to detect data quality issues such as traffic drops or tag failures across multiple client properties before clients report them.

Who You Are:

What We Really Want:

• Someone who still enjoys the implementation craft but is ready to be responsible for more than their own output. You can write a data layer spec, spot a broken tag, and explain what the data means to a non-technical stakeholder, all in the same week. You've managed a small team or mentored others and you're ready to do it more formally.

What Particular Set of Skills Would Suit This Role:

• 4-6 years in digital analytics, with strong hands-on experience…
