Senior Consultant, CRM (AEC)

About this role

Unanet is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead CRM implementation and advisory engagements for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) organizations. This is a business-led consulting role—not a configuration-only position. You will help clients connect their business goals, client-development practices, people, processes, data, and technology to a practical CRM solution that supports measurable results.
As a trusted advisor to client leaders, you will guide discovery and solution decisions, lead delivery across project workstreams, and help clients adopt Unanet CRM. You will balance strategic perspective with hands-on implementation leadership while managing multiple engagements and collaborating with internal delivery teams.
What You'll Do

• Lead CRM implementations and related integrated solutions to meet the agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

• Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors and stakeholders across business development, marketing, project delivery, operations, finance, and IT.

• Facilitate outcome-focused discovery and workshops to understand client goals, current practices, requirements, roles, data, measures, and adoption needs.

• Assess current-state CRM and business-development processes and guide clients toward a practical future state that reflects AEC industry practices.

• Translate business needs into clear requirements, solution options, configuration decisions, dependencies, risks, and delivery plans.

• Guide CRM solution design and configuration—including workflows, data structures, reporting, dashboards, and integrations—alongside technical specialists and solution architects.

• Coordinate data migration and integration work with client stakeholders and Unanet specialists so teams can use data from multiple sources in the solution.

• Lead project planning, status communications, meeting facilitation, documentation, follow-up, and stakeholder alignment; manage scope, risks, priorities, and deadlines across concurrent engagements.

• Demonstrate Unanet CRM capabilities and plan and deliver role-appropriate end-user training and enablement, remotely or onsite.

• Support organizational readiness, adoption, and value realization; identify and address delivery concerns and customer escalations.

• Partner with project managers, consultants, technical teams, customer success, sales, and product to deliver a coherent customer experience.

• Meet Professional Services performance expectations, which may include customer satisfaction, time-to-value, budgeted delivered hours, realization, and utilization.

• Share client insights and delivery feedback to strengthen Unanet’s methodology, playbooks, and delivery standards.

Your First 90 Days
First 30 days

•

• Complete onboarding and build relationships across Professional Services and key cross-functional teams.

• Learn Unanet CRM, the customer journey, delivery standards, internal tools, and the business-led consulting approach.

• Set up and explore the CRM demonstration environment; attend available product and role training.

• Shadow client discovery, project meetings, demonstrations, and delivery reviews.

First 60 Days

•

• Work with a mentor and delivery team as you take ownership of specific portions of a client engagement.

• Prepare for and facilitate client sessions; document decisions, requirements, risks, and follow-up actions.

• Apply outcome-focused discovery to connect client goals with CRM processes, configuration, data, integrations, and adoption needs.

• Begin managing project milestones and competing priorities across assigned work, while progressing toward role-specific Professional Services expectations.

First 90 Days

•

• Independently lead CRM workstreams or projects you own, from planning and client communication through delivery and follow-up.

• Demonstrate sound judgment in scope, risk, stakeholder alignment, and customer escalations.

• Deliver clear, business-focused recommendations and support client training, adoption, and value realization.

• Demonstrate working proficiency in Unanet CRM and provide actionable feedback to improve delivery practices and enablement materials.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in business consulting, professional services, software implementation, organizational transformation, or a related field.

• Experience leading CRM or enterprise software implementations, including responsibility for project outcomes and client relationships.

• Strong business-process analysis, requirements definition, and future-state design skills; able to connect business strategy to practical implementation.

• Demonstrated ability to lead executive and cross-functional workshops, build alignment, and communicate recommendations clearly.

• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to manage scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and competing priorities across multiple projects.

• Excellent organization, documentation, communication, facilitation, and follow-through skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% annually.

Your Differentiators

• Experience with Unanet CRM or other CRM platforms used by AEC firms.

• Familiarity with AEC business-development processes such as client and contact management, pursuits, proposals, teaming, and pipeline management.

• Experience with CRM integrations, data migration, reporting, analytics, or connected ERP solutions.

• Experience with change management, customer adoption, organizational readiness, or value realization.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
