The Senior Cloud Network Engineer's responsibility is to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance hybrid cloud network architectures. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal operation and security of cloud enterprise class hybrid networks, which directly impacts the efficiency and reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure both on-premises and across a multi-cloud hybrid footprint. The Senior Cloud Network Engineer collaborates with various IT teams to integrate cloud network solutions with existing systems and applications, providing guidance and expertise to Network Engineers on best practices. Additionally, this role involves continuous improvement by staying updated with the latest cloud networking technologies and best practices including:

• ​Taking the primary engineer role in the design and architecture of new network infrastructure initiatives ​

• ​​Taking the technical network lead on high-visibility incidents and supporting users in solving existing system problems.

• ​Being the primary network engineer in supporting migration projects that include implementation, action planning, configuration, and deployment while considering business and technical requirements, sizing, existing infrastructure, data protection, security requirements, governance, and recovery objectives

• ​Coordinating with the security team on documenting and implementing network security principles and guidelines.

• ​Leading the network design, maintenance, and administration of computer networks, including LAN, WLAN, Cloud, and VPN.

• ​Leading the network design, maintenance, and administration of virtual network components in the cloud infrastructure.

• ​Taking the lead on administering and maintaining network security components, including Firewalls, WAF, and NAC.

• ​Configuring and supporting B2B, IPSEC VPN connections with external parties.
