About this role

Every organization needs supplies and services to operate. From laptops and rental cars to pens and pallets, all businesses, schools, and government bodies have procurement needs. That’s where CoreTrust comes in. CoreTrust works with our members and suppliers to transform how procurement professionals buy billions of dollars’ worth of supplies and services annually. We’re on a mission to be the one place where buyers and suppliers connect, secure purchasing agreements, transact, and partner to accelerate value and realize savings.

We’re seeking a Senior Category Manager, Technology to help shape and grow our technology category at CoreTrust.

This role sits at the intersection of procurement, product strategy, supplier partnerships, and go-to-market execution. You’ll be responsible for developing category strategy, building high-impact supplier relationships, and partnering closely with Sales to translate complex technology solutions into clear, compelling value for our members.

This is not a traditional “back-of-house” procurement role. Success in this position requires someone who can think commercially, communicate value propositions externally, and influence outcomes across teams—balancing deep category expertise with a strong understanding of how the business grows.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate and structure technology agreements that create strong value for CoreTrust, its members and suppliers

• Contribute to and execute multi-year category strategies for the technology portfolio aligned to business goals, member needs, and market dynamics

• Conduct market, competitive, and supplier analysis to inform portfolio direction, expansion opportunities, and investment prioritization

• Assist in supplier segmentation, strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contracting to secure differentiated commercial structures and value-added benefits for members

• Participate in end-to-end offering development, from concept and design through sourcing, contracting, and transition to go-to-market execution

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Portfolio Operations to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth
