For our client, a fast-growing international logistics company based in Antwerp, we are currently looking for a Senior Accountant / GL Accountant to strengthen the finance team.

Jobomschrijving

Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the general ledger accounting of one or more entities, including:Accounting & Reporting

* Postings monthly journals (payroll, accrals, prepayments, depreciation - USGAAP)
* Performing balance sheet reconciliations
* Conducting analytical reviews of financial results per branch
* supporting the monthly reporting process

Tax & Compliance

* Preparing (and in some entities filing) VAT & tax declarations
* Supporting tax audits & controls

Year-end & Audit

* Assisting with year-end closings
* Preparing locaal GAAP statutory files & financial statements
* Supporting external audits

Stakeholder interaction

* Maintaining contact wiht international branches, auditors & tax advisors.

Projects

* Contributing to ad hoc projects & improvements within the accounting team.
