Join us!</p></div><h3><strong>Role Overview</strong></h3> <p>We are seeking a highly capable, hands-on Senior Accountant to help support both the operational and statutory accounting functions of our India subsidiary and month-end close processes. This role will play a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes across geographies.</p> <p>The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. They will act as a key finance partner to the India team while collaborating closely with global finance stakeholders to ensure alignment with company-wide standards.</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <h4><strong>India Statutory &amp; Operational Accounting</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Support day-to-day accounting and finance operations for the India entity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance</li> <li>Work with a third party to manage statutory compliance, including entity registrations, tax filings, and coordination of statutory audits</li> <li>Assist with payroll processing reviews and ensure compliance with local labor and tax regulations</li> <li>Maintain strong internal controls across cash management and expense cycles</li> <li>Partner with HR and internal teams to support compliant employee onboarding and compensation processes</li> <li>Serve as a point of contact for India-based employees</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Perform core accounting activities</li> <li>Support the monthly close process, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis</li> <li>Coordinate with external accounting partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting</li> <li>Support annual audit processes, including audit preparation and resolution of inquiries</li> <li>Partner with tax advisors on filings, compliance, and transfer pricing matters</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Process Improvement &amp; Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability</li> <li>Support automation initiatives across accounting workflows</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data integrity and alignment across systems</li> <li>Contribute to ad hoc projects and strategic finance initiatives</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Qualified Chartered Accountant</li> <li>4-7 years of accounting or finance experience, with exposure to India statutory requirements</li> <li>Background in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or corporate accounting</li> <li>Experience working with auditors, tax advisors, and external vendors</li> <li>Strong ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Workday) and advanced Excel skills</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Core Competencies</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Strong ownership mindset with ability to operate independently</li> <li>High attention to detail with sound accounting judgment</li> <li>Ability to balance hands-on execution with process and strategic thinking</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Adaptability and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Why Join Us:<br><br></strong>It is rare to have a company that both deeply impacts its customers and is able to provide its services across a massive population.&nbsp; At Blink, we have a huge impact on people when they are most vulnerable: at the intersection of their healthcare and finances.
