As ***Senior Accountant***, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of accounting operations, compliance, and financial reporting within an international business environment. Working closely with a Shared Service Center and stakeholders across Europe, your responsibilities will include:

* Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews;
* Acting as the accounting reference point for the Belgian entity and overseeing the quality of accounting transactions processed by the Shared Service Center;
* Taking ownership of VAT compliance, tax-related reporting, and statutory obligations across multiple European jurisdictions;
* Coordinating annual audits and supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements;
* Partnering with business teams to provide accounting and tax guidance on commercial and operational activities;
* Ensuring compliance with local regulations, internal controls, and group accounting policies;
* Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives;
* Contributing to digitization and automation projects, including the adoption of innovative technologies and AI-driven solutions;
