JOB DESCRIPTION

At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic finance team. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Accountant who is ready to own the day-to-day accounting operations of our Vietnam delivery center in a fast-paced, forward-thinking organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, monthly tax compliance, financial reporting, payroll, and budget and cash-flow monitoring, while ensuring accurate records, on-time statutory filings, and reliable financial information for management. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Vietnamese accounting and tax, statutory compliance, and the use of technology and automation to streamline accounting workflows.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the full monthly accounting cycle, from recording transactions to month-end close, ensuring books are accurate, reconciled, and closed on time.

• Review the Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and General Ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and proactively flag discrepancies.

• Ensure full statutory tax compliance, including monthly and quarterly VAT, PIT, and FCT filings, PIT finalization, and annual financial statements.

• Run monthly payroll in coordination with the HR department, including PIT dependent registration, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Validate accounting transactions and payment or reimbursement requests against company policy prior to processing.

• Prepare budget estimates and cash-flow forecasts, and keep expense tracking synced in real time with the US finance team.

• Maintain financial dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and provide management with timely, reliable financial information for decision-making.
