A leading international pharmaceutical organisation in Berchem is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. Your responsibilities as Senior Accountant:

* A-Z responsibility of various VAT (BE + Other EU) declarations on monthly and quarterly basis;
* Assist the team in the daily operational accounting tasks (financial journals, purchase invoices,…);
* Back-up of other accountants;
* Cashflow-management (prepare foreign currency exchanges, ICO-payments, …)
* Preparing vendor payments in Isabel;
* Controlling and administrating the expense note application;
* Handling of the general finance mailbox
* Preparing and recording monthly accruals and deferrals;
* Assist in month-end and year-end closing;
* Assist in ad hoc projects to optimize current processes;
* The accounting team currently consists of 2 accountants.
