Why this role exists:

The purpose of this role is to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial reporting across multiple legal entities. You'll help build a scalable and predictable accounting function by owning the general ledger, leading the month-end close process, and continuously improving accounting operations as the business grows.

What you’ll drive:

Financial close and reporting

•
Own and execute month-end and year-end close activities across multiple legal entities.

•
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.

•
Maintain an accurate and complete general ledger.

•
Support the preparation of financial statements and statutory reporting.

•
Ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met without compromising quality.

Accounting excellence

•
Review balance sheet and P&L accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

•
Investigate variances and resolve accounting discrepancies.

•
Maintain strong accounting controls and compliance with internal policies.

•
Support the implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and SOPs.

•
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements.

Process improvement

•
Identify opportunities to simplify and improve close-related processes.

•
Drive standardization across accounting activities and legal entities.

•
Partner with stakeholders to improve data quality and financial workflows.

•
Support automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.

Cross-functional collaboration

•
Partner closely with Revenue, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax, and other Finance teams.

•
Support external auditors by preparing schedules, documentation, and explanations.

•
Communicate accounting matters clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

•
Help build reliable financial information that supports business decision-making.
