About the role We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to drive the growth of our Plates processing business, lead by example, and provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to the sales team. This is a hands-on, target-driven B2B sales role with a leadership edge — where success is measured by your ability to win new business, grow revenue, build long-term client partnerships, and lift the performance of those around you.
What you’ll be doing Sales & business development Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio Prepare accurate quotes and costings Deliver sales presentations and product solutions Monitor market trends, pipeline, and upcoming projects Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently hit targets Team leadership Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the sales team Help set team priorities and sales focus areas Support the onboarding and development of junior team members Act as a point of escalation for key accounts and complex deals Work closely with management to ensure team targets are met
Requirements 5+ years B2B / external sales experience Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets Strong new business development ("hunter") capability Experience with quoting, pricing, and margin management Solid numerical and commercial acumen Confident negotiation and closing ability Ability to manage a sales pipeline + forecasting Intermediate CRM / Excel / quoting systems Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, or lead a small team
