The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of SAP invoice processing and have experience integrating VIM with SAP FI/MM modules. This role will focus on streamlining the invoice-to-pay process, customizing workflows, ensuring compliance, and bridging the gap between finance, procurement, and IT teams. The consultant will play a key role in helping organizations reduce manual tasks, improve accuracy, and achieve greater efficiency in accounts payable operations.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Implement and configure OpenText VIM solutions within SAP environments to optimize the invoice-to-pay process</li> <li>Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions</li> <li>Integrate VIM with SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and MM (Materials Management) modules to ensure seamless workflows</li> <li>Design and customize workflows to meet client-specific requirements, focusing on automation and process efficiency</li> <li>Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal audit standards in all configurations and processes</li> <li>Provide support for VIM implementations, including troubleshooting issues, performing system upgrades, and ensuring system stability</li> <li>Conduct end-user training and create documentation to support the adoption of VIM solutions.</li> <li>Lead or participate in project planning, testing, and deployment activities</li> <li>Stay updated on the latest OpenText VIM and SAP technologies to provide innovative solutions and best practices to clients</li> </ul> <p><strong>Here’s what you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience with OpenText VIM implementation and support</li> <li>Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI and MM modules</li> <li>Proficiency in customizing and optimizing workflows within SAP VIM</li> <li>Excellent understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders</li> <li>Experience in leading or participating in end-to-end SAP VIM implementation projects is highly preferred</li> <li>Working experience with SAP S/4HANA environments</li> <li>Knowledge of OCR technologies and integration with VIM</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certification in SAP FI/MM or OpenText VIM is a plus</li> <li>Experience with federal or public sector projects is advantageous</li> </ul> <p><strong>Eligibility requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>US Citizenship required</li> <li>Must be eligible to work on federal projects and comply with all relevant regulations and requirements</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p> </p> <p><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of <strong>California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland</strong></span></span><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">.
