This role leverages statistical methods, data modeling, and visualization techniques to solve business challenges and support decision‑making. The Data Scientist will gather, wrangle, and validate data; develop analytic pipelines; design predictive models; and communicate findings through dashboards, KPIs, and executive‑ready visualizations. The role collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams to implement data‑driven solutions and deliver AI/ML‑based frameworks that generate measurable business value.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collect, organize, and wrangle data from SAP and non‑SAP sources; build reusable analytics and data pipelines</li> <li>Clean, validate, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets to ensure high‑quality inputs for analysis</li> <li>Conduct statistical and exploratory analyses to identify trends, patterns, and business insights</li> <li>Develop predictive and prescriptive models using SAP Analytics Cloud Predictive or external ML frameworks integrated with SAP data</li> <li>Enhance data collection procedures to support analytic system development</li> <li>Create dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations to clearly communicate findings to business stakeholders</li> <li>Support data reconciliation and KPI validation between source systems and analytics outputs</li> <li>Collaborate with IT, business analysts, and leadership to implement data‑driven solutions</li> <li>Design and deliver AI/ML‑based decision‑making frameworks; measure and justify model value</li> </ul> <p><strong>Here’s what you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or applied data modeling (ideally with SAP data)</li> <li>Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data manipulation libraries</li> <li>Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Predictive, SAP BTP AI Core, or integrating SAP data with external ML platforms</li> <li>Strong understanding of data preparation and feature engineering for large ERP datasets</li> <li>Solid statistical and machine‑learning background with the ability to explain models to non‑technical audiences</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>SAP BW/4HANA experience</li> <li>Familiarity with SAP HANA modeling, BW queries, or SAP BTP services</li> <li>Experience with cloud‑based ML platforms (AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, etc.)</li> <li>Background in data governance, data quality frameworks, or production model deployment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Eligibility requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>U.S. Citizenship (no duals)</li> <li>Ability to obtain a client Public Trust government clearance</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p> </p> <p><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of <strong>California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland</strong></span></span><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">.
