The Role

Your role

The role will provide end-to-end technical coverage for SAP platforms, including system administration, installations/upgrades, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, transport/change management, scheduling, cloud infrastructure, and operational automation.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis and a good understanding of modern SAP cloud technologies and enterprise scheduling/change-management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support SAP landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, HANA, DB2, and SAP Cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and operational stability.

• Perform SAP installations, upgrades, kernel patches, migrations, system copies, refreshes, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.

• Monitor and optimize SAP systems through health checks, performance tuning, incident resolution, user administration, job management, and system configuration.

• Manage and support SAP HANA databases, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, replication, backup, and recovery.

• Provide technical support for SAP Cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS), collaborating with infrastructure, security, network, and cloud teams on migrations, integrations, and connectivity issues.

• Administer and support SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including account management, services, connectivity, integrations, monitoring, and platform issue resolution.

• Support SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM for monitoring, alerting, health checks, reporting, lifecycle management, and change governance.

• Manage SAP transport and enterprise scheduling processes using Rev-Trac, IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS), V-TOM, and Redwood, ensuring controlled deployments, job automation, and issue resolution.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration across enterprise SAP landscapes.

• Strong experience supporting SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and DB2-based SAP environments.

• Expertise in SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, incident management, and operational support.

• Experience with SAP installations, upgrades, patching, kernel upgrades, system copies, refreshes, and migrations.

• Knowledge of SAP high availability, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.

• Experience supporting SAP workloads on cloud (IaaS/PaaS) environments, including cloud connectivity and integrations.

• Working knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Cloud ALM.

• Experience with SAP transport and change management, including Rev-Trac or equivalent tools.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise scheduling tools such as IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS), V-TOM, and Redwood.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, security, and availability.
