About this role

A World-Changing Company

Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.

The Role

The Finance Team supports and empowers Palantirians through day-to-day operations and creative problem-solving. The International Tax Manager is responsible for supporting the company’s direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions worldwide. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and technical background with the ability to navigate complex and evolving tax matters with a practical business-oriented approach. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, solutions driven and comfortable working cross functionally to support accurate compliance, effective risk management and scalable tax processes.

• Own process and workflow optimization — proactively identify inefficiencies and gaps in forecasting, reporting, and deal tracking processes. Develop and implement improvements that enhance speed, accuracy, and cross-team collaboration.

• Drive automation and tool development — lead initiatives to automate manual workflows, build dashboards and reporting tools, and reduce ad hoc analysis burden. Leverage AI and automation tools to drive efficiency across Sales Finance processes. Partner with Finance Systems and Engineering teams as needed.

• Turn ad hoc Revenue strategy and performance requests from leadership into scalable workflows — provide the immediate analytical support, identify recurring questions or patterns, and build repeatable processes or tools to address them and reduce future one-off requests.

• Support the Deal Desk team during peak activity periods, particularly quarter-end close. Streamline and improve closeout workflows and ensure timeliness and accuracy.

• Collaborate with forecasting team — work closely with the forecasting analyst to ensure that process improvements integrate seamlessly with weekly execution. • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.

• 3+ years in finance operations, process improvement, systems implementation, or sales operations.

• Comfortable operating in both strategic and tactical modes—designing improvements and executing operationally.

• High ownership and execution bias — sees problems and takes personal accountability for solutions from conception through implementation.
