If that excites you, how about joining our European Sales team as the Sales Director for Europe North? Reporting to EU Sales Director you will focus on creating sustainable revenue growth, supported by top-grade sales execution.
You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategy in Benelux, Baltics, Nordics and Ireland to achieve revenue targets and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will be directly responsible for originating sustainable new business opportunities and client prospects for ClearBank Europe, and achieving new client logo wins and revenue growth.
This role involves close collaboration with the senior management team of ClearBank Europe, as well as the Group Chief Revenue Officer, to drive sales and success across your region. You will apply a leadership-level of expertise to the planning, creation and execution of growth and sales strategies. Decisions made will have a very high impact on the image, success and growth of ClearBank Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Own and continuously evolve the regional sales plan (including targets and KPIs) which drives the growth of ClearBank Europe in Northern Europe – positioning the company as a long-term business partner to potential clients, challenging the status quo and creating momentum for change.
- Implement the approved sales plan to achieve short, medium and long-term revenue growth, as well as other KPIs.
- Take the lead in sales campaigns and owning the end-to-end sales cycle – marshalling internal resources, driving consensus for change and negotiating client contracts to achieve business objectives and to maximize revenues.
- Build, develop, coach and lead a top-class sales team capable of driving the business forward, providing strong leadership and creating a positive and high-performing team culture.
- Embed and manage world-class processes to provide a solid platform to support the growth of the company in Northern Europe – particularly to include sales processes (forecasting, pipeline management, territory management, account planning etc.).
- Play a lead role in developing senior-level contacts on a multi-stakeholder basis in major clients, potential clients and partners to drive market traction.
- Develop and manage the partner ecosystem to enhance ClearBank Europe’s sales effectiveness in the region.
- Recommend pricing and sales strategies to the leadership team in order to maximise long-term value.
- Contribute to the overall leadership of ClearBank Europe, working closely with cross-functional teams to support management of existing clients and to provide market feedback and input into the development pipeline of new products and services.
What you’ll bring:
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Sales leadership & strategy execution: Proven ability to define, own and deliver regional sales strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth and achieve ambitious targets.
- Strong sales track record: Demonstrable success in originating, managing and closing complex B2B deals within banking or fintech, with full ownership of pipeline and individual revenue targets.
- Go-to-market (GTM) expertise: Experience designing and executing effective GTM approaches, including market entry, positioning and partner ecosystem development.
- Regional experience: Strong knowledge and network across Northern Europe, particularly the Nordics, Baltics, Benelux and Ireland.
- Language skills: Fluent in English; additional Nordic or Dutch language skills are a plus.
- Team leadership: Ability to build, lead and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across product, operations and leadership teams to drive client outcomes and influence broader business strategy.
- Scale-up mindset: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the autonomy, adaptability and resilience required to succeed in a growing organisation.
