RN Clinical Supervisor ( Private Duty )

AdvisaCare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor to lead and support our Private Duty team in Flint. This role is ideal for an RN with home health care experience who can provide strong clinical oversight, mentor nursing staff, and help ensure high-quality patient care across the service area.
In this position, you will provide leadership for private duty nursing services, support regulatory compliance, conduct supervisory visits, and step in with hands-on care when needed.
What You’ll Do
Supervise and provide clinical guidance to private duty nursing staff
Conduct supervisory visits and patient assessments to monitor care quality and staff performance
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, agency policies, and documentation standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide hands-on patient care when needed to support staff and ensure quality outcomes
Participate in staff training and development to strengthen clinical skills and consistency
Support program development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan
Minimum 2 years of home health care experience
Experience in private duty nursing
Experience overseeing field-based clinical staff
Current CPR certification
Ability to provide hands-on patient care as needed
Willingness to travel within the service area
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Eligible to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Leadership or supervisory experience in home health or private duty nursing
Experience with quality improvement or clinical program support
Knowledge of state home care regulations, supervisory visit documentation requirements, and private duty care standards
Experience with point of care charting and care plan documentation
