If you're looking to join a forward-thinking, rapidly growing organization with helping people as its number one goal, we want to hear from you.</p> <p> </p></div><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>You’ll work within our mobile team to maintain and build out new features for our client-facing mobile app. The app provides tools for our clients to view the status of and make changes to their program after they enroll with us, as well as the ability to directly chat with our support team.</p> <p>We’re a group that values clear communication, transparency, and collaboration. We drive progress by small iterations and reflecting on how we can best work together.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and build our iOS and Android apps using React Native consuming APIs built with Ruby on Rails</li> <li>Participate in technical conversations with other engineers to help steer decisions in the right direction</li> <li>Offer constructive and respectful feedback via code reviews</li> <li>Assist other engineers in resolving or removing blockers they might encounter</li> <li>Research and promote design patterns and practices that fit our technical challenges</li> <li>Write automated unit and integration tests as well as build tools to assist in testing various aspects of our app</li> <li>Build in business and technical metrics alongside the features themselves to further us as a data-driven organization</li> <li>Work with our DevOps and QA teams to ensure quality in our builds and releases.</li> <li>Receive a personalized development program and sponsorship from your manager</li> </ul> <p> <strong>What We Look For</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience developing, releasing, and maintaining production-quality mobile apps with React Native on iOS and Android</li> <li>Proficiency with Typescript</li> <li>Basic familiarity with one or more native mobile languages such as Swift or Kotlin</li> <li>Experience building and consuming APIs</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot production issues in unfamiliar code</li> <li>Experience scoping projects into small iterations for release</li> <li>Clear and efficient communication skills</li> <li>Eagerness to grow both technical and leadership skills</li> <li>Experience with and willingness to work with agentic AI coding tools</li> </ul> <p>#LI-LB2</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The base annual salary range is listed below.
