We value curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to dive deep into complex technologies while contributing to a positive, inclusive culture.</span></p> <h1><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>General Key Responsibilities</strong></span></h1> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Design, build, and maintain high quality software components that contribute to ExtraHop’s core platform and product capabilities.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate closely with engineering peers, product management, UX, QA, and other partners to define requirements, architecture, and implementation details.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning to ensure quality, stability, scalability, and long term maintainability.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Debug, troubleshoot, and improve software running in real world customer environments.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support performance, scalability, and reliability initiatives through measurement, analysis, and optimization.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Contribute to test automation, CI/CD processes, and modern engineering practices.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Participate in agile development methodologies and help continuously improve team processes.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrate ownership, technical curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Model ExtraHop’s core engineering values which include collaboration, kindness, customer focus, and building technology that matters.</span><br><br></li> </ul> <h1><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Often Required Qualifications</strong></span></h1> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Go, Python, C, C++, Rust, JavaScript, or TypeScript.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience developing software on Linux or Unix environments, including debugging, tooling, and common developer workflows.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Understanding of networking fundamentals and common Layer 2 through Layer 7 protocols.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with secure development concepts including encryption fundamentals and modern authentication ideas such as TLS, SAML, or OIDC.</span><br><br></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to design and implement software with an emphasis on code quality, maintainability, and reliability.</span><br><br></li> <li…
