As Purchasing Group Lead, you will take ownership of a defined purchasing category, leading your team with a strong focus on performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

YOUR MISSION

- Lead a purchasing team, both functionally and disciplinarily

- Own operational and strategic procurement within your assigned category

- Develop and implement sustainable sourcing strategies

- Identify, evaluate, and develop national and international suppliers

- Lead price, contract, and commercial negotiations

- Ensure supply availability, quality, and cost optimization

- Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Finance

- Build scalable procurement processes and KPI-based performance management

- Support make-or-buy decisions and manage supply chain risks

- Foster the development and growth of your team

WHAT YOU BRING

- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

- Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally in a technical or industrial environment

- First or solid leadership experience

- Experience with complex supplier structures and international sourcing markets

- Strong negotiation skills combined with analytical and business-oriented thinking

- Structured, solution-oriented working style with a hands-on mindset

- Strong communication skills and ability to align multiple stakeholders

- Fluent in German and English

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience in robotics, automotive, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing environments

- Knowledge of ERP systems and data-driven procurement controlling

- Experience in building or scaling procurement organizations in growing companies
