We’re partnering with a progressive regional health service to appoint a Consultant Psychiatrist within a well-established Child and Youth Mental Health Service based in Toowoomba. Total package: $381,337 – $476,304
Hourly rate: $103.79 – $131.60 (L18–L27)

About the service
One of Queensland’s largest regional health services, delivering care across a broad network of hospitals and community facilities. The team provides specialist mental health assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and their families, working closely with schools, GPs, and community providers.
The service is known for its integrated and recovery-focused approach, with strong multidisciplinary collaboration and a commitment to improving access to care across regional areas.

The role
In this position, you will:
Deliver specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment to children and young people
Support families through evidence-based, recovery-focused care
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across inpatient and community settings
Provide clinical leadership and contribute to service development
Support access to specialist services across rural and regional communities

Who we’re looking for
Eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA
Fellowship of RANZCP (or equivalent)
Experience in child and adolescent mental health
A collaborative and patient-centred approach
