In this role, you will manage diverse projects varying in size, scope, and complexity while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Atwell offers a flexible, entrepreneurial environment, a vibrant office culture, and the opportunity to work with clients and teams across the country.</p> <h3>Project Leadership &amp; Management</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Lead project teams in the preparation, review, and delivery of preliminary and final site plans, engineering designs, and construction documents.</li> <li>Manage project schedules, budgets, quality control, and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.</li> <li>Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and project analyses to support successful project execution.</li> </ul> <h3>Technical Expertise</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Review and evaluate survey data, existing site conditions, and development constraints, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, condominium documents, and related records.</li> <li>Prepare and oversee engineering analyses and design documentation, including: <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Hydrologic and hydraulic studies</li> <li>Due diligence and site feasibility reports</li> <li>Engineer’s opinions of probable construction costs</li> <li>Utility system calculations</li> <li>Detention and retention pond design calculations</li> <li>Stormwater management reports</li> <li>Storm sewer design reports</li> <li>Earthwork and volume calculations</li> <li>Preliminary and final grading plans</li> <li>Local, state, and regulatory permit applications</li> <li>StormCAD and WaterCAD modeling and analysis</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h3>Team Development &amp; Construction Support</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical direction to junior engineers and designers.</li> <li>Coordinate construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, cut sheets, transmittals, and construction documentation.</li> <li>Oversee the organization and preparation of site plans, construction plans, and complete construction drawing packages.</li> </ul> <h3>Software &amp; Design Tools</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to prepare designs and deliverables efficiently and accurately.</li> <li>Ensure all assignments are completed on schedule and in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and project budgets.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.</li> <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license required.</li> <li>10+ years of experience in civil engineering and land development.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of site development design, permitting, and construction documentation.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage projects, mentor…
