About the role

As a Project Engineer, you will manage technical automation solutions, oversee schedules, budgets, and quality standards, and support the project manager in coordinating tasks across stakeholders. Your responsibilities include managing engineering, procurement, and logistics, as well as supporting risk management and reporting. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure adherence to contract specifications. The role requires occasional global travel to project sites. While the role demands responsibility and ownership taking, you will work closely with project managers and senior engineers to ensure successful project execution.

- Support and coordinate technical solutions, schedules, budgets, and quality standards within projects
- Ensure adherence to contract specifications and provide regular project reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution

We are looking for

- Relevant educational background and interest in electrical and automation engineering
- Some years of experience working in project business, preferably in energy sector
- Technical understanding of engine power plants and automation solutions applied there
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with hefty amount of can-do-attitude; for example act as a substitute to Project Manager and/or Chief Project Engineer when needed
- Fluency in English, with Finnish as a plus

Previous experience from power plants, or retrofit projects is considered beneficial.
