ABOUT THE ROLE

The era of siloed supply chains is over. Planning cycles that once took weeks now run in minutes. Decisions that once required armies of analysts can be augmented — or automated — with the right intelligence. Lyric is building the platform that makes this possible: an AI-native decision intelligence platform designed to dismantle functional silos and replace them with composable, connected solutions that let global enterprises move at the speed of thought.

Think of this less as a traditional implementation consultant role and more in the spirit of a Forward Deployed Supply Chain Engineer — embedded with customers, building in the field, and deploying decision intelligence directly into the heart of their operations. You're the bridge between Lyric's platform capabilities and mission-critical execution — part solution architect, part AI practitioner, part hands-on engineer. You're not handing over a configured system and walking away. You're working alongside customer teams until the right decisions are happening faster, smarter, and with less friction than before.

This is a senior, customer-facing role. You'll translate real-world supply chain complexity — network design trade-offs, demand volatility, inventory risk, fulfillment constraints — into composable, AI-native solutions on Lyric's platform, owning that translation end to end from the first discovery session to go-live and beyond. You won't be recommending strategies from a slide deck. You'll be turning "what if" into "here's how" — using Lyric's composable architecture to build everything from probabilistic simulation models to ML-powered planning workflows.

Our delivery teams are lean by design. Every engineer on the PS team is expected to be deeply hands-on — leading customers through complex decisions while personally building on the platform. You'll partner closely with Customer Success Business Partners and Lyric's Product and Engineering teams, bringing deep expertise in at least one of our two core practice areas: Modeling & Scenario Analysis or Planning & Execution — spanning both traditional best-practice use cases and frontier AI/ML applications.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Deploy Decision Intelligence — End to End

- Own customer implementations from discovery through go-live — leading blueprinting sessions, technical design workshops, and build-in-public working sessions with customer stakeholders, turning abstract supply chain problems into concrete logic and model structures

- Translate messy, real-world supply chain constraints — network trade-offs, demand volatility, inventory risk, fulfillment complexity — into composable, AI-native solutions using Lyric's full platform stack: Optimization Notes, Prediction Notes, Green Notes, and Next Gen App UIs

Build at the Frontier

- Get hands-on daily — writing SQL and Python, configuring business logic, and rapidly prototyping from customer pain point to working model; troubleshoot edge cases, validate outputs, and own the technical integrity of everything you deploy

- Partner with Product and Engineering when the platform needs to go further — you're the person in the field who knows exactly where the edges are and why they matter

Multiply the Team

- Mentor junior engineers, turn recurring field challenges into reusable design patterns and accelerators, and close out every project with a documented customer story — quantified outcomes and a short demo that captures what was built and the value it…
