Specifically, we’re looking for a detail-oriented, business-minded Product Counsel to join our Legal team in our San Francisco office. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of issues and company departments, including product management, engineering, user experience research, product marketing, product design, and customer success. You will bring a collaborative, thoughtful, and practical mindset to solving problems, reporting directly to Asana’s Head of Litigation, IP, and Product Legal.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve

Partner directly with Asana’s product and engineering teams on product and feature development and releases, including advising on general compliance issues.

Partner directly with Product Marketing and product teams on go-to-market plans and materials.

Conduct comprehensive legal reviews of new products, features, and UI/UX flows, particularly around collaboration tools, automated workflows, and enterprise-grade administration features.
