Role Overview

The position will be a highly strategic Rocket Now Finance role working in close partnership with Rocket Now business leaders. In this role you will be required to develop the operating and financial plan required to achieve strategic plans and goals, drive decisions and track performance on growth, margins, OP and cashflows. The role will also support modeling for new launches, supplier negotiations and customer analysis.

What You Will Do

• Be responsible for multi-billion-dollar P&L

• Partner with business, operations, and tech leaders of Rocket Now to achieve company-wide goals

• Dive deep on end-to-end food delivery service and call out the variances, identify root causes and come up with business solutions

• Manage a team of FP&A

• Forecast, track and update analysis and modeling

• Define key KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement through predictive analysis to grasp target progress in real time and take timely actions

• Build aggressive improvement measures based on the current status of your team and provide short-term targets for your team to achieve.

• Contribute to automatic report generation using business intelligence tools, to be utilized as part of a continuous efficiency improvement program.

• Improve and maintain the existing dashboards.

Basic Qualifications

• Native level Japanese fluency

• Relevant experience in financial planning and analysis in a fast-paced organization.

• Team management

• High level of process orientation and attention to detail.

• Experience in leading and developing new financial processes, models and tools.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with non-finance leaders.

• Ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly and tell the business stories.

• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

• Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis

• Strong analytical thinking. Be able to start with problem statement, ask 5Ys and arrive at data backed solutions

• Establishing and managing KPIs.

• CPA/CA

• MBA

• SQL (NoSQL)
