At FF, we’re creating something new, something connected, and something with a true global impact.</p> <p><strong><u>Your Role: </u></strong></p> <p>The <strong>Pre-Sales Support Engineer</strong> will serve as a key bridge between EAI R&amp;D and external business engagements, helping translate EAI and robotics innovations from development into real-world applications through technical demonstrations, solution validation, deployment support, and business enablement activities.</p> <p>This role will provide technical preparation, presentation, and support for customer engagements, strategic collaborations, executive briefings, and other external-facing initiatives. The position will help ensure that EAI and robotics technologies are effectively demonstrated, validated, and promoted, while continuously driving the conversion of R&amp;D innovations into tangible business value.</p> <p><em><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></em></p> <ul> <li>Equipment Procurement &amp; Sourcing: Identify, source, and procure necessary hardware, sensors, components, and tools required for building and upgrading advanced EAI and robotics demonstration setups, collaborating with internal procurement and vendor teams.</li> <li>System Deployment &amp; Setup: Responsible for the end-to-end physical and technical deployment of new demonstration units, corporate showrooms, and exhibition booths, ensuring all infrastructure meets operational benchmarks.</li> <li>Demo Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all deployed EAI and robotics demonstration hardware, sensors, and physical setups are fully functional, calibrated, and maintained to the highest professional standards always.</li> <li>Software Deployment &amp; Flashing: Manage the software lifecycle for demonstration units, including flashing latest software builds, upgrading firmware, and troubleshooting basic software/hardware integration issues prior to client visits.</li> <li>Demo Script Design &amp; Execution: Design engaging, user-centric demonstration scenarios and scripts that clearly highlight the unique selling points and technical advantages of FF's EAI technologies, executing these live with high precision.</li> <li>Client Reception &amp; Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales and Business Development teams to co-host client visits, government inspections, and VIP tours, delivering professional technical explanations and answering client inquiries.</li> <li>Feedback Loop: Collect and synthesize feedback, feature requests, and technical pain points raised by visitors, channeling these insights back to the Product Development and R&amp;D teams to improve technology iterations.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience: 3+ years of experience in pre-sales support, technical support, application engineering, hardware deployment, or product demonstration/validation, ideally within the robotics, AI, autonomous driving, or high-tech manufacturing industries.</li> <li>Equipment Management: Proven experience in managing technical asset lifecycles, including hardware procurement, inventory control, and system deployment/integration.</li> <li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</li> <li>Technical Fluency: Hands-on experience with hardware-software integration; comfortable with Linux/Ubuntu environments, basic command-line operations, and software flashing/deployment tools.</li> <li>Presentation &amp; Communication: Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily digestible language for diverse audiences.</li> <li>User Orientation: Strong focus on delivering high-touch, premium, and user-first interaction experiences.</li> <li>Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, procurement, marketing, and core engineering teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge or hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2, Python, or robotics data analysis tools.</li> <li>Experience managing, sourcing for, or setting up high-profile exhibition booths, corporate showrooms, or live tech demonstration areas.</li> <li>Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to support international client and vendor relationships.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Annual Salary Range:</u></strong></p> <p>($95,000 - $110,000 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong><u>Perks + Benefits</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Healthcare + dental + vision benefits (Free for you/discounted for family)</li> <li>401(k) options</li> <li>Casual dress code + relaxed work environment</li> <li>Culturally diverse, progressive atmosphere</li> </ul> <p>Faraday…
