PowerBI Developer / Data Visualization Specialist

About this role

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: Design and build user-friendly Power BI reports, dashboards, and visual elements.

• Data Modeling: Clean, shape, and model raw data using Power Query and data modeling best practices.

• DAX Calculations: Write Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for advanced aggregate, date, logical, and table calculations.

• Data Integration: Connect Power BI securely to various data sources like SQL databases, cloud services, and Excel.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical BI solutions.

• Optimization: Monitor and optimize report performance, data flows, and dashboard
Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M language), and SQL.

• Core Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

• Design Sense: Strong grasp of data visualization principles, color theory, and clear data storytelling.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills to explain technical insights to non-technical users
