The destination comprises several distinct sites featuring five-star hotels, luxury private residences, a world-class golf experience, and many year-round activities. Navarino Dunes is home to The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, The Westin Resort Costa Navarino and Costa Navarino Residences. Navarino Bay is the setting for Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, W Costa Navarino and Navarino Agora, a curated marketplace. Both sites have signature golf courses, while at Navarino Hills there are two further signature golf courses.
Costa Navarino is looking for Pool Lifeguards. The Pool Lifeguard ensures guest safety by monitoring pool activities, preventing accidents, and providing emergency care. They enforce safety regulations, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure effective communication with guests and staff. The role also includes equipment checks and ongoing training.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests and associates, by acting quickly and appropriately at all times.
Maintain good communication between the department, other departments, and all guests.
Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Present professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain a high standard of customer service.
Vision and hearing must be sufficient to see and hear people in crowded and noisy conditions and /or situations Communicate in person or by using a telephone and radio.
Provide beach safety and supervision for guests, monitors activities in the water to prevent accidents and to ensure the safety and well-being of guests.
Implements and monitors policies and procedures, enforces regulations and cautions guests regarding unsafe activities. Performs all required lifeguard-training skills as needed.
Responsible for open-close the area of duty and check equipment for its functionality
Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards at all times.
Attend all training and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated on all trends and market news. - Participates in required training sessions, including safety drills and other emergency procedures
Requirements
2 years of experience as lifeguard in luxury hospitality will be an asset
High school Diploma
Lifeguard license
Fluency in English & Greek
Ability to handle difficult and or stressful situations
Ability to maintain/adhere to company Brand Standards, Policies & SOPs
Able to work under pressure and under supervision
Develop effective working relationships internally & externally / Ability to work in a team
Managing crisis situations / Spotting hazards and preventing accidents / Excellent managing of rescue boat
Communication Skills Spoken and Written / Decision making and Negotiation Skills / flexibility & adaptability / Time management and multi-tasking / problem solving skills
Knowledge of lifesaving appliances, hygiene material and their use / Controlling unruly behavior / Apply the presidential decree / Excel at the practical exercises as referred to the presidential decree
Ability to pass physical skills evaluation as stipulated by the department
