About this role

Overview
Dane Street is seeking experienced Neurological Surgeons (Neurosurgeons) licensed in Mississippi to join our growing team of independent physician reviewers. In this role, you will apply your neurosurgical expertise to conduct comprehensive medical record reviews and provide objective, evidence-based clinical opinions.
This is a fully remote opportunity that allows you to customize your schedule while working as a 1099 independent contractor.
Position Description
Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing medical records, preparing clear clinical summaries, engaging in peer-to-peer communications when necessary, and responding to client-specific questions related to neurological and spinal conditions, surgical interventions, treatment planning, causation, impairment, and disability determinations.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Board Certification in Neurological Surgery

Current, unrestricted Mississippi medical license

Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Neurosurgery

Ability to attend required orientation and training sessions

Maintain all applicable licensure, certifications, and credentialing requirements
